Corvette & Camaro platforms
Corvette & Camaro engines and gearboxes we tune
General Motors' performance cars share engines and gearboxes, so the experience carries over between them. What we see in the GTA:
- LT1 6.2 V8: C7 Corvette Stingray and Grand Sport, and the sixth-generation Camaro SS and 1LE.
- LT4 supercharged 6.2 V8: C7 Corvette Z06, Camaro ZL1 and CTS-V.
- LT2 6.2 V8 (C8): The mid-engine C8 Stingray. Support depends on model year and software, so we confirm it before booking.
- Camaro 2.0 turbo and 3.6 V6: The LTG turbo four and LGX V6 in the base Camaro, in the everyday tier.
- Gearboxes: 8L90 and 10L90 automatics, the C8's dual-clutch, and manual cars, where rev limits and launch behaviour can be refined.
Not on the list? Send us the year, model and engine. If the software can be calibrated safely, we will tell you what is possible and what it costs before anything is booked.
What Stage 1, Stage 2 and TCU mean on a Corvette & Camaro
Stage 1: software only
On a naturally aspirated V8, a calibration is about refinement: crisper throttle mapping, cleaner fuelling and timing for the fuel you run, better behaviour from the electronic throttle, and adjustments such as rev limits or cooling fan settings where you want them.
Stage 2: built around your parts
For cars with supporting hardware such as headers, an intake, a supercharger pulley on LT4 cars, or a camshaft. The calibration is built around the parts and logged. Installs are by referral for now; we calibrate around them.
TCU: the gearbox to match
The 8L90 and 10L90 automatics are tuned for comfort from the factory. A transmission calibration firms up shifts, sharpens response in Sport and Track modes and matches the torque management to the engine tune.

Before you tune a GM V8
Many 2019-and-newer GM engine computers are encrypted and need an unlock step, sometimes a swapped module, before they can be tuned. We check your exact car and software first and tell you what is possible in your driveway. Supercharged LT4 cars get a close look at intake temperatures in the log, because heat is what limits them on a GTA summer day.
How a mobile Corvette & Camaro tune works
- Send your car (year, model, engine, current mods and goal) or call (416) 839-2266. We confirm support for your software and quote before booking.
- We come to your home, work or driveway with professional-grade tuning and diagnostic equipment. No drop-off, no waiting room.
- Health scan and live data first. If something needs fixing, you hear it before any calibration is written.
- Factory map saved, calibration written, then a data log to confirm the result, with clear notes on what changed.
